So we all know times are hard, and if you're all like me you wont wanna spend unnecessary money on clothing.. So ima let you onto a little trick of mine.
I attended a mixed school and learnt the hard way that in summer if you don't wear shorts under your skirts, you're leaving yourself open to unexpected skirt lifting/underwear pulling!
So instead of buying yourself a brand new shorts for those summery days or nights out in a flowy skirt, simply cut the legs off of an old pair of leggings or tights (ones you dont wear anymore of course) and proceed to wear underneath a skirt or dress.
Unwanted leggings and tights can also be used to make a headband, headwrap or hair tie, and some people fill them with pot pourri and put it in their underwear drawers to make things smell fresh and flowery.

The weird shit people do
So i was in stratford station this afternoon and saw one of the weirdest things... There was this fresh african guy wearing the tightest adidas tracksuit bottoms i have ever seen! And to top it off he had big feet so he was wearing some bulky ass trainers. I seriously had to fight the temptation to laugh as i watched him run through the station with his bow-legged, bulky-shoed self. He needs turn his swag on fuh real homie!
It gets worse....
I have these weird brazilian housemates (triz and tatti as i like to call them) and they're just hella peculiar! They constantly move things around in the kitchen, they have the cheek to complain about mess but they make the most of it. They pull up the blinds at all times of day as if the world and its mistress needs to see into our flat. They'll be in their rooms sounding like their having the rio carnival in their rooms but its just them and their loud ass friends talking. I am counting down the days til their deported,

HAIR UPDATE - take the heat
so basically, i'm a black girl with extremely dry hair. i perm, i weave, and i braid which all aren't so great attributes of healthy hair, so along with my use of straighteners and blow dryers, my hair is very weak.
i decided to start documenting my hair experiments, something i've been meaning to do but i only really began over the last three/four months.
as i mentioned before, my hair is really dry so i know try to focus on using conditioners as my sister once said to me "every time you wet your hair, you should use a conditioner." she obviously doesn't mean like rain kinda wet, but like after or during a wash.
i'm still trying things out from various brands/ranges, but as of now, i have found that 'take the heat: 3 minute miracle' by the Aussie brand works 'miracles' with my afro hair.
it is obviously designed for caucasian type hair, but i think it still does pretty much the same job. it made my hair a lot more softer, and lighter (but not in a bad way) and made my hair absorb grease a lot better, so i had to moisturise my hair less often.. i've only used it twice but its had the same effect both times.. in
terms of hair growth, i don't think i've noticed anything major but hey, like i said i'm still seeing how it works for me.

Fashion Hot Shot #1
Over the last few years, I've been really getting into fashion and i am currently desiring a pair of wet look leggings. I dunno what it is but i really really want a pair and theyre not too girly so so they're perfect for me.ive never really been a girly girl so i always try to ease myself into these wardrobe changes.

Student Life : September 2011 Edition
I’ve recently begun university in London, and although I didn’t attend my uni’s freshers’ week, my flatmates and I created our own fun.
Our version of freshers’ week was filled with and consisted of: late night games of ‘hide and seek’ with the house in complete darkness; our own variation of the cad gme ‘bullshit’ where if a person was found to be bullshitting they had to take a shot of the alcoholic drinks we had in the house (malibu, lambrini and sidekick), as well as various shopping trips to asda, and the new westfield in stratford city.
On our first night together in the house,us girls ended up taking a night walk in our pyjamasa, to ‘explore’ the area. We ended up at a local petrol station, where we bought overpriced snacks…
Another night, we took another late night pyjama walk, this time accompanied by one of our flatmates and one of my girls’ ‘boyfriend’
*
This week we begun our lctures, which for me have been so far, so good. In a couple of weeks, I will come back and update upon any more nights of debauchery my flatmates and I end up getting into

i think i'm happier alone
over the years, i've always seemed to put my "friends" before myself. i don't know why, but i#m just one of those people who cares too much. i think that will always be my downfall when it comes to people. i'm the kind of person who will drop everything for someone who calls me and claims to be having an emergency.
as time has passed, i slowly began to relise that people were not returning the favour. it always feels like i'm the one initiating outings or conversations, but nobody else seems to want to make the same effort wth me. so i started doing everything alone pretty much. i shop alone, if i feel like having a nice meal, i'll ordere a takeaway and enjoy it front of the tv or something. i don't see the point in chasing people up anymore. it always feels like i#m forcing coversations with people who can never be bothered to make the effort with me.
i always used to feel really alone, but now that i am actually alone, i feel fine. the only people i speak to on a daily basis now are the family members that i live with. i don't feel close to anyone anymore, and i thought i'd be really sad and lonely, but at the end of the day i'm going to die alone so what's the point of expecting to people to always be around.
the fact that i can't even rely on smeone to respond to a text message, but when they want something i'm expected to do it, no qestions asked, just proves what kind of people i used to be friends with.
they say keep your cicle tight, but at this moment in time, i don't even feel like i have enough real friends to form a circle.
i now find myself listening to michael jackson's "you are not alne" everydayl maybe that's why i feel happy lol
