so basically, i'm a black girl with extremely dry hair. i perm, i weave, and i braid which all aren't so great attributes of healthy hair, so along with my use of straighteners and blow dryers, my hair is very weak.
i decided to start documenting my hair experiments, something i've been meaning to do but i only really began over the last three/four months.
as i mentioned before, my hair is really dry so i know try to focus on using conditioners as my sister once said to me "every time you wet your hair, you should use a conditioner." she obviously doesn't mean like rain kinda wet, but like after or during a wash.
i'm still trying things out from various brands/ranges, but as of now, i have found that 'take the heat: 3 minute miracle' by the Aussie brand works 'miracles' with my afro hair.
it is obviously designed for caucasian type hair, but i think it still does pretty much the same job. it made my hair a lot more softer, and lighter (but not in a bad way) and made my hair absorb grease a lot better, so i had to moisturise my hair less often.. i've only used it twice but its had the same effect both times.. in
terms of hair growth, i don't think i've noticed anything major but hey, like i said i'm still seeing how it works for me.
Great Post I feel the same about my hair too when i first started going natural my hair was so dry it was unbelievable and all the you tube videos would make everything look so easy when it fact its wasn't. it a process that everyone has to go through individually. I want to try that product you mentioned and see how it goes.
